Your Impact: Building a Skatepark in Mirleft

In a remarkable display of global solidarity and community spirit, Wonders Around the World (WAW) and Concrete Jungle Foundation (CJF) joined forces with Association Mirleft Surf to construct and donate a skatepark for the youth of Mirleft. This initiative brought together 30 dedicated volunteers from WAW and CJF, who generously contributed their time, resources, and expertise to bring this vision to life.

The Mirleft Skatepark Project

The collaboration led to the creation of a vibrant skatepark in the heart of Mirleft, designed to serve as a safe haven for local youth to engage in skateboarding and community activities. Beyond the physical construction, the project also focused on equipping the youth with the necessary gear to start their skateboarding journey. Through the support of donors, complete skateboard setups and safety gear were distributed to children in the community, removing financial barriers and promoting safe practices.

Community Impact

The Mirleft skatepark has become more than just a place to skate; it's a hub for community engagement, personal growth, and cultural exchange. By providing a free and accessible space, the project has opened new avenues for youth to develop physical skills, build confidence, and foster social connections.

Association Mirleft Surf continues to collaborate with CJF and WAW to ensure the sustainability of the skatepark, integrating it into broader youth development programs and community initiatives.
