Surfing is where it all started. Since 2003, we’ve been teaching local youth to surf while sharing respect for the ocean. Now, we offer monthly beach trips with free lessons, transport, ocean education, and gear—including boards and wetsuits. We also sponsor kids for competitions and host surf events to celebrate their progress.

We helped build and donate Mirleft’s first-ever public skatepark, giving local youth a dedicated space to learn and enjoy skateboarding. The skatepark is completely free to use and equipped with donated skateboards and safety gear available for borrowing. To help riders develop their skills safely, we provide lessons and supervision led by experienced volunteers.

We create shared spaces where youth feel safe, supported, and connected—to each other, to their mentors, and to something greater than themselves. Whether they’re trying something new or building on what they love, every session is a chance to grow confidence, strengthen bonds, and belong.
